Green is the New Black
On October13, 2009 Howard University’s Arts and Science Student Council hosted a panel discussion entitled “Green is the New Blac.” Stressing the need for awareness of sustainability and environmental issues on campus and in the communities nationwide that Howard students come from, this discussion gathered a range of activists and leaders. Among those invited to attend was Dreaming Out Loud Executive Director Christopher Bradshaw and his Groundwork Anacostia River DC counterpart Dennis Chestnut.
Both Executive Directors steered students toward current environmental improvement projects and discussed prospects for Project Dream Green in 2010.
In keeping with the “Green Light: The Return of the Flagship” campaign platform, Arts and Sciences Council leaders sought to bring to the fore local initiatives accessible to the Bison student population. Among the initiatives highlighted on campus was “Recycling Rampage,” a response to the University’s poor performance on the College Sustainability Report Card. This and other student-led efforts will focus on University-wide policy, as well as the incremental changes students can make in their own dorm-life to impact the environment in terms of recycling, water usage, and more.
I completely agree with the above comment, the internet is with a doubt growing into the most important medium of communication across the globe and its due to sites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.

Excelent post thank you for sharing such wonderful information!
Wholesaling has turned into a risky venture with sources like alibaba being full of thieves taking peoples’ money stack and never communicating again. When people start researching importing and exporting, they’re often the first source of information found. Awesome read though.
