Environmental Leadership Program
o Each year we select 15-20 emerging leaders to participate in each of our regional fellowship programs. Fellows come from diverse personal and professional backgrounds as we strongly believe in broadening the voices within the “environmental movement.”
Earth Day Network: Green Schools
o Our National GREEN Schools Campaign, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and The Clinton Foundation, aims to green all of America’s K-12 schools within a generation! We are achieving this through green school policy reform, green makeovers for schools across the country, two teacher grant programs and resources available on our Educators’ Network.

Earth Day Network: The National Civic Education Program
o In order to promote a more democratically active citizenry, Earth Day Network has launched the National Civic Education Project to foster solutions to the growing lack of civic and environmental education in today’s society. In our pilot effort in Cincinnati, OH last year, the National Civic Education Project scored an impressive victory, being credited with convincing the Cincinnati School Board to adopt green building standards for a $1 billion state refurbishment bond for schools.
